About Jody
Jody Hansen has been in the mental health field for over 15
years.  She is licensed in the state of Missouri as a
Professional Counselor and is Certified by both the National
Board for Certified Counselors and the American
Psychotherapy Association .

Her resume is extensive including the following:

Adjunct Professor at Lindenwood University graduate school
Crisis Counselor for the U.S. Postal Service
Lead Clinician for a mental health outpatient clinic
Counselor selected by the Dr. Phil show to provide services
Appeared on Fox 2 Morning News show

Jody is a Fellow of the American Psychotherapy Association
and a Diplomate of the International Academy of Behavioral
Medicine in Counseling and Psychotherapy. In addition, she is
a current member of the following organizations:

Jody earned a dual undergraduate degree from the University
of Kansas in both Psychology and Human Development and
was later granted a Master of Arts degree from Lindenwood
University in Professional Counseling.  Subsequent to her
graduation and licensure, Jody has worked with diverse
populations on issues concerning relationships, bereavement,
divorce, adolescence, employment, depression, anxiety, and
acute mental illness.

Aside from her Practice, Jody is the proud mother of two grown
daughters and resides in St. Louis County with her husband.
